2 cans black beans
1 onion
4 cloves garlic chopped
1 bunch of cilantro (or not if you don’t like cilantro)
½ to 1 cup of black coffee (leftover brewed)
1 jalapeno chopped
½ a bunch of greens
2 teaspoons maple syrup/sugar
6 tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (more if you like it spicier)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Sautee onion in butter
Add garlic, beans, spices, coffee
Cook the liquid off, the beans should be creamy not dry
Put ingredients in pan in the vitamix or food processor.
Blend til creamy
Spoon dip into bowl.
Chop cilantro. Top the dip.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Serve alone, with tortilla chips, plantain chips or as a filling for a wrap.
